IRGC Claims Dismantling of Anti-Iran Network in Qazvin Province


QAZVIN: Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) announced that its intelligence forces have dismantled a network in the northwestern province of Qazvin, which was allegedly involved in activities deemed as sabotage against the nation’s security.

According to Islamic Republic News Agency, the IRGC unit in Qazvin Province stated on Thursday that the network was linked to hostile groups and anti-Iran movements. These groups were reportedly engaged in efforts to undermine national security and were associated with attempts to restore the deposed Pahlavi regime in Iran. The network’s activities included disseminating false information aimed at destabilizing the Islamic Republic of Iran and were operational across several provinces.

The announcement detailed that the dismantling of the network was a collaborative effort, involving the IRGC intelligence unit from Isfahan Province, executed through a complex operation. Members of the network have been apprehended and transferred to judicial authorities for fu
rther processing.
