The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) President and Chairman of the IsDB Group, Mohammad Al-Jasser, headed a high-level delegation of the Group Permanent Observer Mission to the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) to attend its 78th session, held from September 17 to 24 under the theme, “Rebuilding trust and reigniting global solidarity: Accelerating action on the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals towards peace, prosperity, progress and sustainability for all.”
During the UN General Assembly, IsDB delegation participates in high-level discussions and meetings with world leaders, policy makers and representatives of international organizations in dialogues on a range of sustainable development goals issues in the areas of poverty alleviation, health care, education, gender equality and climate action.
