Islamic Affairs Minister Receives Pilgrim Delegation from Iraq under Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program

Makkah, The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the Ministry’s Hajj, Umrah, and Visitation Works, Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, received a delegation from Iraq today. The delegation was hosted as part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit, organized by the ministry. The delegation included the Chairman of the Scientific and Fatwa Council in Samarra, Dr. Hatem Abbas, former president of the Sunni Endowment Office, Dr. Mahmoud Dawood, and professor of fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and its principles at Abu Hanifa College in Iraq, Dr Omar Mahmoud Al-Samarrai.

Dr. Al Al-Sheikh stressed that the Saudi government has provided all necessary services to ensure that pilgrims can perform their rituals with ease, supported by a comprehensive system of services and preparations involving various government sectors.

The delegation members expressed their gratitude for the attention that reflects the K
ingdom’s commitment and leadership to meeting the needs of Muslims worldwide. They praised the significant efforts made in the Two Holy Mosques and the holy sites, referring to the substantial development the Kingdom has seen recently, especially in the Two Holy Mosques and the holy sites. They also commended the extensive human resources dedicated to the comfort and service of pilgrims. They prayed to Allah Almighty for the Kingdom’s continued prosperity, stability, and success.
