Islamic Affairs Ministry Allocates Corner to Receive Pilgrims through Salwa Port

Dammam, The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, represented by its branch in the Eastern Region, has designated a specific area to welcome pilgrims arriving from Qatar via the Salwa border crossing.

The branch has stated that this area is equipped with all the necessary resources to assist pilgrims, including informational materials explaining the rituals of Hajj, prayers and supplications, booklets, brochures, and support for the “Rushd” application. The “Rushd” application provides various services such as the Holy Qur’an, an electronic library supporting 52 languages, prayer times, and the Qibla direction. Additionally, pilgrims will receive gifts such as sun umbrellas and bags.

The branch has also assigned official preachers to educate and guide pilgrims, addressing their questions and inquiries regarding all aspects of Hajj. This service includes providing scientific lessons three times a day for each preacher in the mosques and prayer areas of Salwa to explain the rituals and timings of
the Hajj.

These preparations in the Eastern Region reflect the Ministry’s commitment to promoting the Hajj goals among pilgrims, honoring the rituals, and showcasing the significant efforts made by the Kingdom in serving the Two Holy Mosques.
