Islamic Affairs Ministry Holds Iftar Banquet in Benin


Abomey-Calavi, The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance hosted an iftar banquet yesterday in the Republic of Benin. The banquet is part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Gift Program, providing iftar meals to fasting individuals, benefitting over 300 people.

The ministry launched the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Gift Programs to distribute dates and iftar meals in Benin on Ramadan 9. The total quantity of dates distributed was 5 tons, benefiting over 20,000 Muslims.

This initiative falls within the framework of the programs implemented by the ministry abroad during the blessed month of Ramadan this year, under the guidance and support of the wise leadership.
