Makkah, The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance has completed the preparations for Al-Khaif Mosque in Mina to welcome pilgrims. The preparations included carpeting, cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining the air conditioning, lighting, and restrooms. The ministry has also set up Islamic awareness counters and fatwa booths, activated electronic screens and surveillance cameras, and assigned maintenance companies to work around the clock for cleaning and maintenance. Field supervisors have been tasked with monitoring the maintenance work and submitting immediate reports.
In recent years, the ministry has undertaken several development projects for the mosque, including maintenance, renovation, structural repairs, air conditioning, and air purification systems. The mosque has been furnished with luxurious carpets and equipped with electronic screens and counters for guidance and awareness.
