AMMAN, The Syrian authorities announced on Tuesday that material damage was caused by an air Israeli attack that targeted a site in the vicinity of the city of Baniyas.

The Syrian News Agency (SANA) quoted a military source saying that the Israeli occupation launched an air attack from the direction of the Mediterranean Sea, west of Baniyas, targeting one of the points in Baniyas city.

The source added that the aggression of the Israeli occupation led to some material losses.
