Issues of Azarab Industries Complex rooted in management/ Shares of Keshavarzi Bank in this production unit should be handed over

The President said, “The problems of Azarab factory are rooted in management problems”.

During his first visit to Markazi Province on Friday, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi visited the Azarab Industries Complex and was closely informed about the problems of this production unit.

While listening to their requests, the President said, “This complex is a production, money-maker and creditor, but the main problem here is management and ownership”.

Expressing his dissatisfaction with the lack of support for Azarab Industries Complex, Dr Raisi said, “Keshavarzi Bank has no mission related to this and its shares should be handed over to a group that has relevant duties and expertise”.

Ayatollah Raisi pointed out that the active and dynamic nature of Azarab is determined by the efforts of the capable workers and engineers of this production unit, and emphasised, “We will make a decision to solve the management and shareholder problems of Azarab as soon as possible”.

Expressing regret that a factory that is able to meet the needs of other factories and industries is working with less than ten percent of its capacity today, the President emphasised, “We will revive the Azarab factory and we will do something that, God willing, the working capacity of this factory would at least return to the same capacity of three thousand people before”.

Ayatollah Raisi added, “Hepco and Azarab are symbols of national pride and national self-confidence, we will revive these production units and will not let them suffer more than this”.
