Joint Forces Liberate 2 Villages, Kill 70 ISIS Members in Northern Mosul
We Are Coming, Nineveh Operations announced on Thursday, that the joint security forces have managed to liberate two villages, north or Mosul, from the Islamic State's (ISIL / ISIS / IS) control, while also pointed out to the killing of 70 members of the extremist group.
Commander of We Are Coming, Nineveh Operations, Major General Abdel Amir Yarallah, said in a press statement, Troops of the northern axis managed to liberate the villages of al-Sadah and Tawilah, and raised Iraqi flag over their buildings after inflicting heavy losses on the enemy; Iraqinews reported.
The liberation operations also resulted in the killing of 70 fighters of the Islamic State (ISIL / ISIS / IS), as well as destroying eight booby-trapped vehicles. Yarallah added.
Meanwhile, Yarallah revealed that the troops of the army's 9th armored brigade detonated three car bombs, while trying to attack the security troops in the neighborhoods of al-Shaimaa and al-Seha.
