Jordan taekwondoka refuses to face Israeli opponent

Tehran, IRNA – A Jordanian female athletes on Sunday refused to face an Israeli opponent in the Taekwondo Championships in Bulgaria.

According to Palestinian media, a Jordanian woman taekwondoka refused to face an Israeli opponent in the Taekwondo Championships in Bulgaria.

The Jordanian taekwondoka withdrew from competing with an Israeli opponent to win a bronze medal in a sign of opposition to the normalization of relations with the occupying regime.

Two months ago, another Jordanian athlete avoided facing an Israeli opponent in solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people and in opposition to the normalization of relations with the occupying regime.
