Judiciary condemns US for new sanctions on Iran Intelligence Ministry

Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s Judiciary Spokesman Masoud Setayeshi condemned the United States for frequent sanctioning of Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence.

In his weekly press conference on Tuesday, Iran’s Judiciary Spokesperson said that the US’ method has always been that they are engaged in media hype which is an ineffective old tactic.

He added that the only use of the recent US sanctions is that the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence’s honors were fulfilled, which will definitely increase the Ministry’s motivation in realizing the goals of the Islamic Republic Of Iran and maintaining Iran’s security.

Setayeshi condemned the United States’ frequent sanctioning of Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence, and said that “we expect Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs to stand and deal with this issue with appropriate international and decisive measures”.

In response to a question about Iran’s ownership of three islands, the judiciary spokesperson said that effective and decisive measures have been taken to protect national interests by the Real Estate Registration Organization of Iran to stabilize the ownership.

He continued that Bu Musa, Greater and Lesser Tunbs islands have always been part of Iran and their ownership documents has been issued.
