King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Strengthens Partnership at IUCN Forum

The King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority on Wednesday concluded its participation in the 10th International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Regional Conservation Forum for West Asia. The forum, organized by the National Center for Wildlife Development, was attended by over 200 experts and specialists.

King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Chief Executive Eng. Maher AlQathmi met with IUCN Director-General Dr. Grethel Aguilar. They discussed strengthening the strategic partnership between the authority and IUCN, aligning with 2030 targets for the Royal Reserves and the Saudi Green Initiative.

The authority’s participation aimed to highlight its initiatives supporting the protection of its reserves, ensuring the preservation of biodiversity, and the restoration of natural ecosystems.
