Riyadh: The King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority is participating at the Arab Forum for Environment (AFEN) under the slogan “Restore Land to Build Resilience.” The forum started today in Riyadh and will continue until the fifth of this month.
The participation of the Royal Reserve Authority demonstrates its commitment to rehabilitating lands and continuing initiatives to achieve environmental balance. The goal is to exchange successful environmental expertise and experiments and to enhance cooperation and integration between Arab countries, with the aim of restoring vegetation cover and achieving environmental sustainability in the region.
At its pavilion, the royal reserve showcased its strategic efforts, initiatives, and achievements in environmental sanitation operations. This includes removing harmful materials, rehabilitating degraded habitats, planting seedlings, and dispersing local seeds to restore vegetation within the reserve’s boundaries.
