King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority Participates in World Agriculture Day


The King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority participated in the global celebration of World Agriculture Day on September 26 to emphasize the importance of agriculture and its various seasons. The authority’s involvement in this event reflects its dedication to improving vegetation cover and rehabilitating natural habitats within its territory to create a fertile environment for plant growth and wildlife reproduction.

The authority highlighted its significant initiatives over the past years, including large-scale afforestation projects that involved planting over 2.4 million seedlings of various species, such as Acacia and other local flora, along with sowing more than four tons of native seeds, including Wormwood and Salsola.

These substantial initiatives demonstrate the authority’s commitment to vegetation development and community involvement. They have engaged local institutions and individuals in agricultural and irrigation projects to promote environmental sustainability for futur
e generations.
