Kirkuk police detachments arrested an armed robbery gang wearing military uniform.
Police Commander Major General Kawa Gharib said that joint detachments were able to arrest a gang consisting of (4) defendants wearing military uniforms and claiming to belong to one of the security services. They carried out an armed robbery of a store and stole an amount of (80) thousand dollars. Immediately, a work team was formed and after gathering information and follow-up from surveillance cameras were found at the whereabouts of the accused, and through a security operation they were arrested, the stolen amounts were seized, their statements of preliminary and judicial confession were recorded, and they were arrested in accordance with Article (443) of the P.C.
