KSrelief Concludes Saudi Noor Volunteer Program to Combat Blindness and Related Diseases in Afghanistan

Herat, In its ongoing humanitarian efforts, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), successfully completed the “Saudi Noor” volunteer program in Herat, Afghanistan. The program, which ran from May 29 to June 4, 2024, in collaboration with Al Basar International Foundation, screened 8,622 patients and performed 818 successful surgeries, providing crucial aid to those suffering from eye diseases in the region.

This program reaffirms the Kingdom’s commitment to providing healthcare to those in need around the world, highlighting its leading humanitarian role.
