KSrelief Continues the Noor Saudi Volunteer Project to Combat Blindness in Sudan

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has been implementing the Noor Saudi Volunteer Project for operations to combat blindness and the diseases that cause it in the Republic of Sudan cities Atbara, Port Sudan, Kassala, and Damazin, since July 15; the project ends on September 15, 2024.

Since the start of the campaign, the center’s volunteer medical team has successfully performed 50 retinal injections, 79 glaucoma surgeries, 5 strabismus surgeries, 107 retinal surgeries, 293 laser surgeries, and 364 minor eye surgeries.

The project is an extension of the volunteer medical projects concerned with combating blindness and its causes provided by the Kingdom through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to assist patients and individuals in needy countries and communities worldwide.
