KSrelief Supervisor General Signs Joint Agreement to Support Syrian Orphans, Host Community in Jordan

Amman: The Advisor at the Royal Court and King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid (KSrelief) Supervisor General, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah, signed an agreement to implement a project supporting Syrian orphans and the host community in Jordan. The total amount of the project is SAR4,892,000 million. The agreement was signed with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), represented by the Secretary-General of the Commission, Dr. Hussein Shebli.

This agreement aims to improve the livelihoods of Syrian orphans and the host community by providing monthly financial sponsorship that covers their basic needs for a year. Additionally, it aims to raise their educational level with educational sponsorship, Eid clothing, and recreational program activities. The project will benefit 1,000 Syrian orphans and the host community in the cities of Amman, Zarqa, Al-Mafraq, Irbid, Ajloun, Jerash, Balqa, Madaba, Kerak, At-Tafilah, Ma’an, and Aqaba.

The signing occurred in the presence of the Saud
i Ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Non-resident Ambassador-designate to the State of Palestine, Naif bin Bandar Al-Sudairi, and representatives of international humanitarian organizations.

This initiative is part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian and relief efforts through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to care for orphans wherever they are.
