KSrelief Team Inspects Preparations for Launching Zakat Al-Fitr Project in Yemen


Aden, A team from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) in Aden governorate concluded an inspection visit on Sunday ahead of the launch of the Zakat Al-Fitr project in Yemen for the year 1445 AH.

The team followed up on the progress of the initial preparations for the project, ensuring the quality and storage methods of rice and its transportation to distribution centers for the beneficiaries.

The project aims to provide Zakat to the families most in need in the governorates of Hodeidah, Taiz, Lahj, Aden, Marib, Hadramout, Al-Mahra, and Hajjah.

A total of 31,333 families, comprising 219,331 individuals, will benefit from the project, which seeks to enhance food security for the most vulnerable groups during Eid Al-Fitr.

This initiative is part of Saudi Arabia’s relief and humanitarian efforts, delivered through KSrelief, to assist and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
