Labor Min. delivers Egypt’s speech at BRICS Ministerial Meeting


Mohamed Gibran, Egypt’s Minister of Labor, attended the 10th BRICS Ministerial Meeting of Labor and Employment in Sochi, Russia, at the invitation of Anton Kutyakov, the Russian Minister of Labor and Social Protection. The meeting focused on various labor and production issues with delegations from BRICS countries.

In his address titled ‘Developing a Lifelong Vocational Guidance and Technical Education System,’ Minister Gibran highlighted Egypt’s commitment under President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to the ‘Training for Employment’ policy and urged BRICS nations to enhance bilateral and multilateral collaboration in this area.

He expressed Egypt’s desire to strengthen cooperation among member states to achieve economic, social, and developmental integration. The Egyptian government’s priorities include sustainable development goals focused on human capital development, enhancing capabilities, and promoting well-being through social protection, education, youth and women’s empowerment, and skills enhancement init
iatives for Egyptian workers.
