Last Day of GAIN Summit Continues to Drive Global AI Discourse

The third Global AI Summit (GAIN Summit), organized by the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA), continues its work for the third and final day in Riyadh.

The event brings together pioneers, academics, specialists, policymakers, business leaders, and thousands of other participants from across the globe to foster global discussions on AI and shape this sector’s future for humanity’s benefit.

Today’s discussion will focus on various topics and issues of economic and social significance related to Arabic large language models and their role in preserving identity and cultural diversity, as well as strategies to bridge the gap between academic innovation and the AI sector.

Participants will also tackle deepfakes and explore how to address their ethical, technical, and social implications.

Champions of the first International AI Olympiad (IAIO), held alongside the summit under the auspices of UNESCO, will share their perspectives on leveraging AI to serve humanity.

The summit will conclude with the unvei
ling of AI ethics badges and an overview of the accomplishments of IAIO participants, who came from 25 countries.
