Leader to attend ceremony on martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat-e Fatemeh

Tehran, IRNA – Ceremony on martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat-e Fatemeh (AS) — daughter of Great Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) — will be held on January 3 in the presence of Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

The ceremony will be held at Imam Khomeini Mosque with no audience due to following up health protocols as preemptive measure against the deadly coronavirus, according to the Sunday report from the Supreme Leader’s office.

The ceremony will be broadcast through different TV channels from January 3 for five days.

Worldwide, Shia Muslims hold annual mourning ceremonies on Hazrat Fatemeh’s tragic demise. The ceremonies aim to remember her whose characteristics are praised and followed as a role model for all Muslim women.
