Kuala Lumpur, The Makkah Route Initiative continues to be implemented at the designated departure hall in Kuala Lumpur International Airport, simplifying travel procedures for Malaysian pilgrims flying to King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah.
As per the initiative, pilgrims are provided exceptional service, including having all entry procedures into Saudi Arabia completed at the airport of departure. Upon arrival in the Kingdom, pilgrims are welcomed at a dedicated Makkah Route Initiative lounge and transferred to their residences, eliminating any wait times at the airport.
