Media Minister Holds a Dinner Banquet for Media Delegations Participating in Hajj Media Hub


Makkah: Minister of Media Salman bin Yousef Al-Dossary held a dinner banquet for the media delegations participating in the coverage of this year’s Hajj season 1445 AH, in the presence of Minister of Transport and Logistic Services Eng. Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, Minister of Health Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajel, General Supervisor of the Palestinian Official Media Ahmed Assaf, and a number of representatives of the sectors participating in Hajj Media Hub in these days in Makkah.

The hosted media delegations appreciated the initiative of the Ministry of Media, which reflects its interest in consolidating the bonds of cooperation and bridging the relations among media professionals representing different countries who perform their media mission in highlighting the Hajj season as an Islamic obligation that receives the continuous attention of the leadership of the Kingdom and highlight the various efforts exerted to serve the pilgrims, so that they can perform their rituals with ease and reassurance.

The m
ission of the Hajj Media Hub is seen as an interactive digital environment that enables media representatives to perform their duties in keeping pace with this year’s Hajj media season.

The Hajj Media Hub witnesses the attendance of 1,500 media professionals from various countries of the world, and provides its services to more than 150 local, Arab, Islamic and international media outlets.

The hub includes 11 supportive media areas, and an interactive media exhibition highlighting the services provided to the pilgrims.

It brings together the various sectors of the media system in one place to enable and support the media work of all media professionals and media outlets, in addition to providing modern technologies to achieve greater innovation and creativity, reflecting the level of development and great transformation in the services provided to the Pilgrims.
