Media Ministry Organizes ‘Media Oasis’ at Future Aviation Forum


Riyadh: The Ministry of Media, in partnership with the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), organized the seventh “Media Oasis” at the third annual Future Aviation Forum.

The conference, under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, is held in Riyadh on May 20 and 21.

The Media Oasis comprises four distinct zones: The Saudi Hospitality Zone, the Oasis Valley, the Vision Exhibition, and the Instant Photography Zone.

The ministry aims to provide visiting officials and media luminaries with an unparalleled opportunity to explore the nation’s flagship initiatives.

Leveraging state-of-the-art technologies and interactive models, attendees can delve deep into these projects, gaining unrivalled insights and forging direct connections with experts to address their inquiries.

The Media Oasis features several major national projects within the Vision 2030 Exhibition, with participation from the Ministry of Sports, the General Authority for Survey and Geospat
ial Information, the Saudi Spirit Initiative, the Aseer Development Authority, the Royal Commission for AlUla, the Premium Residency Center, the NEOM project, the Sports Boulevard Foundation, the Red Sea Global, the New Murabba Development Company, Qiddiya Investment Company, Advanced Electronics Company, the Saudi Press Agency, the General Authority of Media Regulation, the Saudi Broadcasting Authority, and the Saudi Center for Government Communication.

The Media Oasis showcases interactive models of the Kingdom’s major projects using advanced technologies, allowing visitors to explore these initiatives in an unconventional manner and highlighting them during the forum coverage.

It is expected to host over 700 officials, more than 120 media outlets, and international journalists.

The oasis is one of the new initiatives launched by the Ministry of Media, aiming to provide media outlets with the opportunity to deliver outstanding local and international coverage.

By utilizing modern technology to support c
reativity and media innovation, the initiative seeks to achieve greater excellence in covering major events and national occasions in the Kingdom.

The ministry has held six editions of the Media Oasis, both locally and internationally.

The first edition coincided with the 32nd Arab Summit in Jeddah, the second with the annual Grand Hajj Symposium, and the third in New Delhi, India, during the Kingdom’s participation in the G20 Leaders’ Summit and the official visit of the HRH the Crown Prince to India.

The fourth edition was held in Riyadh to coincide with the Kingdom hosting African, Arab, and Islamic summits.

The fifth edition took place in Paris in conjunction with Riyadh’s selection to host Expo 2030, and the sixth coincided with the special meeting of the World Economic Forum in Riyadh.
