The Military Intelligence Directorate announced the arrest of 12 suspects, including those accused of terrorist cases, in five governorates.
A statement by the Directorate stated that, with distinguished qualitative operations and a distinguished intelligence effort of the divisions of the Diyala and Anbar Operations Command, and the 8th, 10th, 14th, 16th, and 20th divisions, and in cooperation with the security forces, court ambushes were set up in the provinces (Anbar, Salah Al-Din, Kirkuk, Diyala, and Nineveh), which resulted in the arrest of ( 3) terrorists wanted by the judiciary in accordance with the provisions of Article 4, of terrorism in the districts of Shirqat, Amiriyat al-Fallujah, and Ramadi, and (9) accused of various legal cases in the areas of Abu Taiban, Amiriyat al-Fallujah, Hajj Ali, and the control of Al-Ghalibiya and al-Kursi. They were handed over to the concerned authorities legally.
