Minister: Indonesia keen on exchanging experiences with Iran in women, family fields

Tehran, IRNA – Indonesian Minister of Women Empowerment and Child Protection I Gusti Ayu Bintang Darmawati lauded Iran’s experiences in the field of empowering female breadwinners and called for an exchange of experiences with Iran.

Speaking in a webinar on Tuesday, Darmawati appreciated the efforts made by the Iranian Vice Presidency for Women and Family Affairs.

Referring to the outbreak of COVID19 and its effects on families’ economy, she said the Indonesian government has put supporting breadwinner women on its agenda.

She also stressed the fact that these women should be supported so that they could manage their lives by learning skills.

The websinar was held in the presence of Iran’s Vice President for Women and Family Affairs Masoumeh Ebtekar.

Participants presented solutions for improving breadwinner women’s situation.
