Minister of Foreign Affairs His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah today headed the Kingdom’s delegation participating in the opening of the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly High-Level Week in New York City.
The Kingdom’s delegation at the opening of the Assembly included Her Royal Highness Princess Reema bint Bandar Al Saud, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to the United States of America, His Excellency the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Member of the Council of Ministers and Envoy for Climate, Mr. Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, His Excellency the Deputy Minister for International Multilateral Affairs and General Supervisor of the Public Diplomacy Deputyship, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Rassi, the Kingdom’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York, Ambassador Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Wasil, and the Director General of the Office of His Highness the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdulrahman Aldawood.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and the members of the Kingdom’s
delegation will participate in several official meetings to strengthen international multilateral action. They will also discuss regional and international developments, efforts to establish the foundations of international peace and security, and joint efforts to achieve sustainable development goals.
