Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Launches ‘Jadarat’ Employment Platform


Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, and Chairman of the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) Eng. Ahmed bin Suleiman Al-Rajhi launched today the unified national employment platform Jadarat, which supports the ministry’s mission to empower national talent through a cutting-edge digital platform.

Al-Rajhi highlighted the Saudi leadership’s unwavering support and guidance in developing human capital, empowering national talent, and enhancing its competitiveness in the labor market.

He noted that Jadarat was established following a Cabinet decision to create a unified platform, managed by HRDF, to centralize and document job seekers’ data, in both public and private sectors, improve the quality of data, streamline employment processes, and facilitate access to job opportunities.

The initiative aligns with the broader objectives of digital transformation and Saudi Vision 2030.

Reflecting on the progress in the Saudi labor market, Al-Rajhi commended the collaboration of various partners,
which has helped reduce the unemployment rate to 7.6% and raised the number of Saudi workers or both genders in the private sector to approximately 2.3 million.

He also lauded HRDF’s achievements, noting that the fund spent over SAR3.79 billion during the first half of this year on employing, training, and qualifying support programs that benefited more than 100,000 establishments.

At the same time, more than 153,000 young Saudis were employed in the private sector during the same period, he said, reaffirming the fund’s commitment to continue working with partners, to provide a sustainable and stable work environment for national talent, thus supporting sustainable development efforts.

HRDF Director General Turki Al-Jawini reiterated that Jadarat aims to unify and document job seekers’ data, simplify the job-searching process, and explore all available job opportunities.

During its trial launch, the platform facilitated the employment of over 114,000 job seekers and saw active engagement from more tha
n 48,000 government and private entities.

The launch ceremony was attended by several prominent figures, including Minister of Tourism Ahmed bin Aqeel Al-Khateeb, Al-Jawini, specialists, and labor market stakeholders.
