The Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, took part in the opening ceremony of the Global Sustainable Transport Forum, held in the Chinese capital, Beijing, from September 25 to 26, 2023.
Al-Jasser emphasized that cooperation, innovation, and the exchange of best practices form the foundation for achieving common goals. He underscored that sustainability is a fundamental element of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
He further highlighted that the Kingdom’s dedication to sustainability has been seamlessly integrated into the transport and logistics sector through the National Strategy for Transport and Logistics. This strategy was inaugurated in June 2021 by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, as well as the Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Transport and Logistics.
