Ministerial Committee for Traffic Safety Partners with WHO for Traffic Safety Data Workshop


Riyadh: The Ministerial Committee for Traffic Safety, in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), started today a three-day workshop titled “Enhancing Traffic Data Systems”.

The workshop, conducted by specialists from WHO and representatives of 11 countries, focuses on exchanging expertise in collecting data on traffic fatalities, injuries, and accidents. Participants will also discuss challenges, opportunities for improvement, and data processing plans to strengthen traffic data collection in participating countries.

Attendees at the opening ceremony included officials, leaders of relevant authorities, members of the executive traffic safety committee, representatives of safety committees from various regions, members of committees operating under the Ministerial Committee for Traffic Safety, WHO representatives, and several university students from the Kingdom.
