Ministry of Communications tasked with providing ground for improving the quality and speed of the national information network

The Supreme Council of Cyberspace instructed the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology to improve the quality and speed of the national information network by increasing internal services on the country’s infrastructure platforms.

The Supreme Council of Cyberspace, in a meeting on Wednesday evening that was chaired by Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, approved the general plan for the development of the country’s electronic services infrastructure.

In this meeting, the members of the Supreme Council of Cyberspace reviewed the preliminary proposals and approved the general provisions of the plan, and decided that its details will be discussed in the next meeting of the council.

Accordingly, the country’s electronic services infrastructure will be expanded and upgraded in order to meet the domestic need for electronic services so that domestic platforms can meet the needs of public and government services.

The project will be implemented in order to create support and development for businesses and domestic electronic services.

The Supreme Council of Cyberspace also instructed the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology to improve the quality and speed of the national information network by increasing internal services on the country’s infrastructure platforms.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Communications was obliged to provide significant changes in the basic services of the National Information Network within 6 months with careful planning.
