Ministry of Hajj, Umrah Wins First Place in 2023 Job Engagement, Human Resources Maturity Awards


The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah achieved significant recognition for its work environment and human-resources practices by being awarded first place in the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development awards for the second consecutive year. The ministry achieved the highest job engagement index among ministries at 93.4% and also received recognition for its human-resources maturity practices with a rating of 3.09 out of 4. The achievements reflect the ministry’s dedication to empowering its employees and creating a pioneering and stimulating work environment to foster creativity and innovation.

The Job Engagement Program measures employee needs in seven main areas, assesses the work environment in government agencies, and aims to enhance employee satisfaction and belonging. Improving the work environment is a top priority for the ministry to enhance performance and ensure best practices, ultimately contributing to professional advancement. These efforts align with the ministry’s goal of providing a pos
itive experience for visitors to the Two Holy Mosques.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development’s Job Engagement Program aims to create a stimulating work environment that improves the performance of public-sector employees, thereby enhancing the level of services provided in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
