Baghdad, The Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, confirmed: ‘The southern Lebanon front will not stop unless the war on the Gaza Strip stops.
Nasrallah said, in a speech on the occasion of ‘Al-Quds Day’: ‘The South Lebanon front will not stop unless the war on the Gaza Strip stops, because it is linked to the Gaza front,’ explaining: ‘The threat of a comprehensive war on Lebanon did not lead to stopping the front, and all the pressures did not change the our position.”
Regarding Israel’s targeting of the Iranian consulate building in Damascus, Nasrallah affirmed that ‘Iran’s response to the targeting of its consulate in Damascus will definitely come,’ noting that ‘the nature of the Iranian response, its timing, and its size will be decided by the Iranian administration and studied slowly, and the Israeli response to the Iranian response will determine its nature.’ “The next stage must be prepared for all scenarios.”
He pointed out that “the most important reason for Western hosti
lity toward Iran is its support of the Palestinian cause.”
