Diyala police forces carried out a night security exercise in search of wanted persons in Baquba.
Haitham Al-Shammari, the media spokesman for the Diyala Police Command, told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that police forces carried out a night security exercise within the sector of responsibility to pursue wanted persons and impose the rule of law.
He added that the security practice comes to enforce the law and enhance security and community peace, so that Diyala province can enjoy security and safety.
On the other hand, joint security forces arrested 29 wanted persons, according to judicial arrest warrants, on legal charges, in separate areas in the governorate.
