The security forces arrested a wanted person for kidnapping in one of the Diwaniyah police stations, coming from Maysan.
A statement of the Ministry of the Interior stated that the Third River checkpoint detachments affiliated to the Diwaniyah Police Command were able to arrest one of the suspects coming from Maysan Governorate, after his name was found on the lists of those wanted to combat crime in Diyala Governorate, according to the provisions of Article 421 (kidnapping) of the Iraqi Penal Code. Immediately, he was sent to the requesting party for the purpose of completing the investigation with him and referring him to the competent court.
