Tehran, IRNA – Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani said on Tuesday that recent openings in the Arab countries’ relations with Syria, including the visit of the delegation of Arab parliaments to Damascus to offer solidarity with Syria after the recent devastating earthquake, in addition to being realistic, is a positive step in Islamic solidarity.

“The recent openings in the Arab countries’ relations with Syria, including the visit of the delegation of Arab parliaments to Damascus to offer solidarity with Syria after the recent devastating earthquake, in addition to being realistic, is a positive step in Islamic solidarity”, Kanaani wrote on his Twitter account on Tuesday.

Adopting an independent national approach and ignoring the wishes of foreign domineering, the countries of the region can solve their problems through dialogue and regional mechanisms.
