Over 7.7 Million Electronic Transactions through Absher Platform in July 2024

The Ministry of Interior’s electronic platform, Absher, released a report announcing the successful processing of over 7.7 million electronic transactions in July 2024. These transactions included a wide range of services for citizens, residents, and visitors.

According to the report, over 5.2 million transactions were executed through the Absher Individuals platform. These involved identity verification checks, electronic renewals of national ID cards, family member registrations, open data service usage, and other related services. Meanwhile, the General Directorate of Passports handled tasks such as issuing exit and return visas, residency permits, and Saudi electronic passports.

The report also highlighted that the Directorate of Public Security processed vehicle registration renewals, driver’s license renewals, and various other vehicle-related services. 181840 mail document delivery requests and a range of other services were processed.

The report also showed that the Absher Business platform saw
substantial activity, with over 2.5 million transactions, including authorizations, residency issuances and renewals, traffic violation inquiries, and various other business-related services.
