Pilgrims at Eastern Region Border Crossings Receive Islamic Guidance and Support

Dammam, The Eastern Region branch of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance is actively assisting pilgrims undertaking Hajj this year. This support extends across all five border crossings with neighboring countries: Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, the UAE, and Oman.

The ministry distributed over 22,768 leaflets containing Islamic teachings to pilgrims. These informative materials covered essential topics like the proper procedures for Hajj rituals and relevant supplications from the Quran and Sunnah.

The ministry also provided more than 5,000 identification cards embedded with a unique barcode that grants access to the ministry’s mobile applications, which offer a range of convenient services to pilgrims, including an e-copy of the Holy Quran, prayer times, the direction of the Qiblah, virtual Hajj tours (in several languages), and other resources designed to enhance pilgrims’ Hajj experience.
