Baghdad/ NINA / – Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani received Today, Saturday, a phone call from the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ibrahim Raisi.
According to a statement from Al-Sudani’s office, the call discussed the latest developments taking place in the regional and international arenas, and the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people there.
During the call, the two sides stressed the importance of the international community taking action in the face of the serious violations targeting civilians in the occupied territories, lifting the unjust siege on Gaza City, providing safe passages for civilians and the passage of urgent humanitarian aid to the Palestinians.
