Prime Minister Muhammad Al-Sudani affirmed that the health insurance law began with practical steps, with up to 300,000 citizens entering as an experiment during the current year.
Al-Sudani said during the inauguration of the Center for Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation: We are working to reduce cases of traveling abroad for treatment, adding, “Our mission is to provide services to citizens through the medical competencies we have.”
He explained, “We have come a long way in the pharmaceutical industry, and we have reached a number of important measures to support this sector,” indicating that “it is hoped that in the coming months we will witness the entry of new factories to secure medical supplies.”
