Director General of Amirabad Ports and Maritime: Facilitating the process of export and transit of goods through Amirabad port is on the agenda.
Emphasizing on the importance of export for the country and economic activists, Mohammad Ali Asl Saeedipoor said: An economy can only be called dynamic if the volume of its exports exceeds its imports.
“hardware, wire, tiles, petrochemicals, tiles, ceramics, cement and agricultural prodicts are among the goods exported from Amirabad port. the export volume from Amirabad port has increased by more than 32 percent compared to the same period last year” Director General of Ports and Maritime of Amirabad said.
“more than 430,000 tons of goods have been exported from Neka port. Facilitation of export processes is on the agenda and a large section of the port area is allocated to exported goods” Saeedipoor, pointing out.
The Ports and Maritime Organization has allocated a 25% discount to the tariff for the export of goods through Amirabad port. as a result, a 185% growth in transit of foreign goods has been recorded in this port.
