A security source revealed the circumstances of an explosion in the orchards, south of Baquba, the center of Diyala Governorate.
The source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that the explosion that occurred in the abandoned orchards of Buhriz, south of Baquba, was caused by an old homemade explosive device, without causing any casualties.
He added that the security services took strict measures in the vicinity of the area.
On the other hand, the security forces tightened their precautionary measures in the vicinity of the electric power transmission towers, in anticipation of any emergency, after a main line for the transmission of electric power was subjected to an act of sabotage in Salah al-Din.
