Tehran, IRNA – Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi extended a message on Thursday to his Uzbek counterpart Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulating him on the occasion of his country’s Independence Day on September 1.
In his message, President Raisi felicitated the Uzbek nation and government on an important day.
He expressed hope that Iran-Uzbekistan’s strong roots and will of the two countries’ officials would prepare the ground for growing interactions.
Since 1991, Uzbekistan celebrates its Independence Day or National Day on September 1.
