Pres Raisi says sees bright future despite all problems

Tehran, IRNA – Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said on Wednesday that despite all problems, he sees a bright future for the country.

President Raisi made the remarks in a meeting held in Tehran with senior Ulema (Muslim scholars and clerics).

The Government is determined to move towards development and progress based on “the Second Phase of the Revolution” statement, the President noted.

In February 2019, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei issued a statement and outlined the second phase for the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

According to the remarks of President Raisi, the Government is determined to provide people with proper living conditions.

After the US’ unilateral withdrawal from the Iran Deal, aka Joint Comprehensive Pan of Action (JCPOA), in May 2018, former US President Donald Trump reimposed, as he claimed, the highest level of sanctions on Iran in November the same year.

When the new US President Joe Biden took office in January 2021, he claimed he would make America return to the international nuclear deal, but nothing practical has happened yet.

The sanctions have created problems for different sectors including health in Iran.
