The Agency for Social, Voluntary and Humanitarian Services, part of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, has distributed, under the “Hafawa” initiative, umbrellas to pilgrims in the circumambulation area and outer squares surrounding the Grand Mosque as part of “It is an Honor to Serve Pilgrims and Visitors” campaign held under the slogan “From the Moment of Arrival Until Departure”.
Undersecretary-general for social, voluntary and humanitarian services at the presidency Khalid bin Fahd Al-Shalawi said the initiative is part of the hospitality and care shown to pilgrims and visitors coinciding with the Hajj season, which provides all means of comfort and facilities to pilgrims and visitors of the Grand Mosque, and the best humanitarian services.
