Presidency of Religious Affairs Supports Interactive Electronic Screens, Provides Guidance E-Books


Makkah: The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque provided digital content on interactive electronic screens to support guidance, awareness, and self-service points.

The initiative is part of its plans for the Hajj season and aims to utilize technology and smart applications to accommodate the millions of pilgrims visiting the Grand Mosque, especially during the peak of the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.

The goal is to enhance pilgrims’ experience by educating them on the correct path of the religion, rituals of Hajj and Umrah, sharia rulings, and observed etiquette. The approach combines authenticity with modernity, promotes tolerance and human brotherhood, and emphasizes centrism and moderation in thought and behavior to achieve the primary goals of Hajj.

The electronic resources, including an e-book, legal information, scientific lessons, guidance lectures, and preaching words, are available to all pilgrims in multiple languages through user-friendly and flexible methods

The interactive electronic screens cover over 62 subjects, all focusing on understanding true Islam, its highest values, and ideal principles, honoring the Two Holy Mosques, and addressing behavioral deviations, fanaticism, and extremism.

These multilingual interactive electronic screens help deliver the message of the Two Holy Mosques to various parts of the world, contributing to enhancing the religious digital experience and reaching Muslims and humanity globally.
