President condoles Imam Musa Sadr’s wife’s demise

In a message of condolences on the demise of the late Parvin Khalili, the wife of Imam Musa Sadr, the founder of the Supreme Islamic Shia Council and the Amal Movement, the President wrote, ” This devoted lady and loyal companion of Imam Musa Sadr, who was always the continuation and promoter of her husband’s path and lofty ideal, passed away after many years of waiting, and left a good and lasting name and memory”.

Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi’s message of condolence is as follows:

In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

We belong to Allah and indeed to Him we shall return (Holy Quran)

The passing of the role model of patience and resistance, the late Parvin Khalili, the wife of the great Imam Musa Sadr, the founder of the Supreme Islamic Shia Council of Lebanon and the Amal movement, caused grief and sorrow.

This devoted lady and loyal companion of Imam Musa Sadr, who was always the continuation and promoter of her husband’s path and lofty ideal, passed away after many years of waiting, and left a good and lasting name and memory.

I offer my condolences to the honourable family of Sadr and Khalili, and I pray to God Almighty for the deceased.
