The President of the Union of Comoros, Azali Assoumani, met today at the Presidential Palace in the capital Moroni with the Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), Dr. Salim bin Mohammed Al Malik, during his visit to the country.
In a statement issued by ISESCO, Dr. Al-Malik provided the Comorian President with an overview of the organization’s most prominent programs and projects currently being implemented, particularly in African countries. He also highlighted ISESCO’s support for the efforts of the Union of Comoros in various fields through practical programs and projects, with a special focus on technology, skills development for future professions, and Arabic language instruction for non-native speakers.
The Comorian President expressed his appreciation for the development and modernization efforts undertaken by ISESCO. He emphasized his country’s keenness to collaborate with the organization in achieving its objectives and supporting its programs and projects aimed at contributing to the development of its Member States.
