President Raisi departs Samarkand for Tehran

Tehran, IRNA – At the end of his three-day visit of Uzbekistan for bilateral meetings and participation at the 22nd Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit, President Ebrahim Raisi departed Samarkand for Tehran a short while ago.

In this official visit, President Raisi met and conferred with the president of Uzbekistan and participated at the SCO Summit at the historical city of Samarkand where Iran’s membership at the SCO was finalized.

On the sidelines of the 22nd SCO summit conference President Raisi had bilateral talks with the presidents of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Pakistan, Russia, Belarus, China, and Turkey, as well as the SCO secretary general.
